ioBridge is proud to announce that we have teamed up with Connected WorldOSIsoft, Aeris Communications, Esri, and ILS Technology to produce the M2M App Challenge –  a hackathon for the connected world. Developers are welcome to come and create connected apps based on a platform, combined with Open Data provided by agencies such as U.S. Dept. of Energy. Developers have access to platform developers and a chance to compete for cash, prizes, and IoT fame. The Top Prize is $3,000!

ioBridge will also be providing an exclusive hardware development kit that is integrated with our RealTime.io platform. This means that you will be able to make simple RESTful API calls and control physical objects and connect to external web services such as Twilio, Twitter, and ThingSpeak. The M2M Challenge Kit is based on the ioBridge Iota Wi-Fi module. This tiny embedded module contains everything you need to connect products to cloud services. The kit includes buttons, switches, LEDs, relays, light sensor, temperature sensor, and a buzzer. For more detail on ioBridge’s M2M Challenge Kit check out Connected World’s article.
